Welcome to the Digital Composition Studio
The DCS is an interactive, multimedia studio in the University of Alaska Anchorage Department of English. DCS tutors and staff can help you to create rhetorically effective multi-modal texts, such as dynamic Powerpoint and Keynote presentations, basic website designs, audio and video podcasting, and the like. Our purpose is to help you accomplish your rhetorical goals while also negotiating the technological demands of multi-modal texts.
Using the DCS
We welcome scheduled reservations and drop-in appointments during our open hours. To schedule an appointment, please call us at 907-786-4324 between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm, Mondays through Fridays, or email us at thedcs@uaa.alaska.edu.
The DCS will close for the Fall 2010 term on Friday 10 December. We will open for the Spring 2011 term on Monday 17 January.
